Black Box Warnings on Medications

The FDA has just released information that Elidel and Protopic will now carry "Black Box" warnings. These warnings indicate that these medications may cause cancer after prolonged use.

Both of these medications are used to relieve the itch and symptoms of eczema. We have long advocated that environmental items can cause cancer. One must become an interested and educated user of many medications and cremes and this is just one good example. These medications have been on the market for over one year and are just now getting a "Black Box" warning!

Cancer has many causes both genetic and environmental. Don't overburden your immune system with reacting to products and situations that can add to your risk.
