Cancer Causing Agents All Around Us
There are carcinogens all around us in our environment, and here is another one that has been in the news lately. Teflon, the coating that is found on nearly every pot and pan available at stores today is now being called a "likely carcinogen". We definitely need more research on this factor! Does the action of heating the pan speed the transfer of the carcinogen to food? Is this a factor for children and having a lifetime of exposure increase what types of cancer?
Definitely food for thought; convenience may again be a quick road to health problems.
