Dr. Simone's Ten-Point Plan To Prevent Cancer and Recurrence

Dr. Charles Simone has created for me in my book, The Alternative Medicine Definitive Guide to Cancer a ten-point plan to prevent cancer and to prevent cancer recurrence. I wanted to share it with you today.
  1. Adopt a healthy nutritional strategy
  2. Avoid tobacco products and tobacco smoke
  3. Avoid alcohol and caffeine
  4. Minimize radiation exposure
  5. Keep your environment clean
  6. Modify hormone-related and sexual-social factors
  7. Learn the 7 cancer warning signs
  8. Exercise to support our anticancer defenses
  9. Modify your stress level
  10. Get a physical exam and assess your risk profile

Some of the key tips are:

  • Limit your fat intake to 20%
  • Get 5 to 30 grams of fiber daily
  • Drink no more than 2 cups of decaffeinated coffee a day
  • Choose organically grown products when possible
  • Minimize exposure to electromagnetic fields -- powerlines, waterbed heaters, computer monitors etc.
  • Avoid all unnecessary medications
  • Learn to lower your stress through relaxation techniques
